How to calibrate DMS/ADAS for dash cam and Mobile DVR China
1. Installation Instructions
1.1 Installation Instruction DMS for dash cam and Mobile DVR
①Normally,DSM intelligent sensing camera need to be installed right in front of the driver's seat.However, in the specific project process, due to the different vehicle models, the installation position on dashboard is limited. For this reason, the DSM intelligent sensing installation position is generally three states:
A. Directly in front of the driver's seat.
B. 30 degree shift to the left in front of the driver seat
C. 30 degree shift to the right in front of the driver seat

② Check the image through the 7-inch screen to ensure that the upper half of the driver's body is visible on the screen.
③ Fix DSM camera via screw,you can fix DSM camera via velcro first then tighten the screws(Make sure the front of camera face to driver's face).
1.2 Installation Instruction of ADAS for dashcam and mobile DVR
① Firstly,the vehicle driving position or parking position needs to meet the requirements of sensing as much as possible.Secondly,ADAS intelligent sensing installation location need to meet the following requirements
1) ADAS camera needs to be installed in the front glass 1/2 at the level of the dashboard, as the picture below.Place the camera in the center of the front windshield,the best installation position is the cross point above the wiper of the horizontal line and the central axis of the vehicle(make sure the camera lens won't be blocked by the wiper).
2) ADAS camera image, must be half sky, half ground
3) The installation position can be marked outside the front windshield to avoid the displacement when installing the camera(we recommend you using the black duct tape to make the mark).Wipe the inner surface of the windshield installation position part clean,remove the 3M adhesive protective film from the camera and the protective film of the lens,then stick the camera on the installation position.Ensure that the camera is in a horizontal installation position when sticking(we recommend you using a gradienter to check the level of the camera).Please keep press the camera for about 30 second after sticking,to make sure the 3M adhesive can stick firmly(If the position that at the central axis isn't available, the camera can be installed within 15cm of the left and right,the closer to the central the better.Please record the distance from the center after installation,and change the setting in ADAS Calibration.).
② Connect the ADAS camera to the CH2 of the MDVR,and tighten the screws.
③ ADAS calibration
Access via remote control:System-Alarm-Calibration.Then according to the field measurement value for the relevant parameters setting.
as the example below:DBC And Front Bumper and DBC And Front Wheel means camera distance to front bumper and front wheel,usually no need to change.If it is flat car,default is 0.
Note: Special Instructions of ADAS
Depending on the actual installation environment, there are some installation locations that do not meet the requirements of the installation environment. For example, the vehicle is parked in the parking lot, there are obstacles or fences in front of the vehicle.
There are obstacles or fences directly in front of the vehicle. Based on this situation, when ADAS is installed, it can be done in the following ways
Calibration：
1.Someone stand 1M position directly in front of the vehicle as the reference object
2.ADAS virtual "cross" visual disappearance point, at 1.2M horizontal ground height position
